Why You Can't Renew
- You may have used an expired or invalid payment method (like a credit/debit card, PayPal, etc.).
- You may be experiencing internet connection issues.
- Your Auto Renewal feature may still be active.
- The Trend Micro product you are trying to renew has reached its end of support (EOS).
What To Do Next
- Follow the renewal instructions accurately.

- Provide correct and valid billing information.
If your payment method (credit/debit card, PayPal, etc.) has expired or is invalid, Trend Micro won't be able to process the renewal. You will need to update your payment information: How to Update Credit Card and Billing Info for Trend Micro Subscriptions.
NOTE: Do not enter special characters or invalid numbers in the form fields, as this may cause errors or stop the submission. - Connect to a stable internet connection.
If there are problems with your internet connection, you may not be able to complete the renewal process. Ensure that your connection is stable and try again.
- Turn off the Auto Renewal feature
If you see a Cancel Subscription button in your Trend Micro Account, click it to stop the auto-renewal that uses your old card. You can reactivate it later with your new card. You will see the Renew Now button after.
- Purchase a new subscription.
